Shaffer Park Resort is your ideal four season headquarters for fishing, hunting, canoeing, hiking, biking, boating, golfing, whitewater rafting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing or just plain relaxing. Shaffer's is located five miles west of Crivitz Wisconsin on the majestic Sandstone Flowage of the Peshtigo River. On our spacious riverfront grounds, we have twenty-seven kitchenette rooms which may be rented by the day or week. (RATES) A large fully furnished 3 bedroom river front cabin with fireplace and all amenities is also available.

A riverside furnished modern cottage with a gas fireplace is a wonderful choice. Our spacious cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, easy chairs, a couch and a large color TV. The kitchen includes a full stove/range, microwave, a full refrigerator, coffee maker and family sized dining room table. The kitchen is equipped with all cooking utensils. If you don't feel like cooking or grilling, just walk over to Shaffer's famous Supper Club for a marvelous dinner.

We have a spacious riverside park, piers, a playground and a heated outdoor pool available during the summer. Shaffer's also offers an enclosed full tennis court, basketball hoops, horseshoes, volleyball and use of many rowboats, feel free to bring your own boat motor. Campfire pits, outdoor grills and tables are available throughout the Park. A beautiful riverside pavilion is there for your relaxation, dining, card games or simply to enjoy nature.

Paddle boats and life jackets can be rented from our office. Bring your motor boats and fishing boats. Our waters hold some of the best fishing in the Midwest. Fish for blue gills, perch, crappies, small and large mouth bass, walleye, northern pike and muskies. Take advantage of our well stocked trout streams. Record breaking catches frequent our beautiful and serene rivers, lakes and flowages. Remember to bring your golf clubs to enjoy the Crivitz area's 4 premium golf courses.

Bring your own kayaks and canoes. There are over 100 miles of routes on High Falls, Caldron Falls, Lake Noquebay and the Peshtigo River. We also rent kayaks and life vests for use on the Sandstone Flowage of the Peshtigo River.

Snowmobiling and Cross-country Skiing

Located on the scenic Iron Snowshoe Trails northwest of Crivitz, we invite snowmobilers to explore the area surrounding the picturesque Peshtigo River. Along these scenic treks are numerous friendly pit stops and plenty of picture taking opportunities. Our award winning cross-county ski trails include 40 km of groomed breath taking beauty.

Dogs (small to medium - under 50lbs.) are welcome, however, they must be leashed and cannot be left inside or outside of the room. There is a charge per day per dog, and the dog owner is responsible for cleanup on the park grounds. (DOG POLICY)
